Wurzelsch\u00f6sslinge aus dem Vorjahr kann man dagegen oberhalb der Wurzeln abscheiden. Frisch gesetzte B\u00e4ume, die anfangs nur lose an Pf\u00e4hle angebunden waren, werden nun st\u00e4rker festgezurrt. W\u00e4hrend der Bl\u00fctezeit muss man besonders die Sauerkrisch-B\u00e4ume im Auge behalten und auf die Monilla-Spitzend\u00fcrre achten. Befallene \u00c4ste und Zweige m\u00fcssen sofort herausgeschnitten und verbrannt werden. Das Gleiche gilt f\u00fcr von echtem Mehltau befallene Apfelb\u00e4ume und Stachelbeerstr\u00e4ucher. Im Mai ist auch der ideale Zeitraum f\u00fcr das Anpflanzen von Koniferen und immergr\u00fcnen Laubgeh\u00f6lzen. Flachwurzelnde Nadelgeh\u00f6lze sollet man immer nur als Ballenware erwerben und dann auch mit dem ganzen Wurzelballen einpflanzen.
