Man h\u00e4lt die Baumscheiben neu gepflanzter B\u00e4ume feucht, indem man sie mit etwas Stallmist, Laub oder Stroh zugedeckt, B\u00e4ume, die nur ein k\u00fcmmerliches Wachstum zeigen, kaum Bl\u00fcten und keine Fr\u00fcchte entwickeln, werden geschr\u00f6pft. Dazu wird die Stammrinde an mehreren Stellen mit einem scharfen Messer eingeritzt. Dabei erfolgt die Schnittf\u00fchrung stets senkrecht von oben nach Unten. Und von April bis in den Hebst hinein muss der Boden unter den Obstb\u00e4umen und Str\u00e4uchern regelm\u00e4\u00dfig gelockert und bearbeitet werden. Im gewerblichen Obstanbauerfolgt de Vorbl\u00fctespritzung bei Kernobst in der zweiten Maih\u00e4lfte. Sobald die B\u00e4ume bl\u00fchen, darf zum Schutz der nektarsuchenden Bienen und anderen Insekten nicht mehr gespritzt werden.
