S\u00e4mtliche Pflanzen werden nochmals auf eventuelle Sch\u00e4dlinge oder<br \/>\nKrankheiten untersucht; betroffene Pflanzenteile m\u00fcssen noch vor dem<br \/>\nFrost entfernt werden, denn viele Pilze und andere Krankheitserreger<br \/>\nsind \u00fcberwinterungsf\u00e4hig. Sind noch verwelkte Bl\u00fcten vorhanden, sollten<br \/>\nauch diese noch entfernt werden. Als Faustregel gilt in etwa, dass fast<br \/>\nalle Pflanzen um ein Drittel zur\u00fcckgeschnitten werden k\u00f6nnen.<br \/>\nWinterharte Teichpflanzen brauchen jedoch nicht zur\u00fcckgeschnitten zu<br \/>\nwerden.<br \/>\nGegen Wind und Schnee d\u00fcrfen die Pflanzen mit Jutes\u00e4cken,<br \/>\nJutestoff, Kokosmatten oder Vlies gesch\u00fctzt werden. Bitte gut<br \/>\nbefestigen, am besten mit Klebeband.<br \/>\nKletterrosen sollten nochmals<br \/>\nam Rankgitter fixiert werden, damit sie nicht unter der Schneelast<br \/>\nabbrechen k\u00f6nnen. Winterharte Pflanzen in Tont\u00f6pfen d\u00fcrfen nicht direkt<br \/>\nauf dem Boden stehen; sie k\u00f6nnen platzen. Man legt eine Holzplatte oder<br \/>\nStyroporplatte unter. Auch winterfeste K\u00fcbelpflanzen werden vorzugsweise<br \/>\nmit einer Bastmatte oder Kokosmatte gesch\u00fctzt, wobei Pflanze und K\u00fcbel<br \/>\numgewickelt werden; mit Klebeband oder einem Strick befestigen. Dieser<br \/>\nSchutz ist besonders bei nicht frostfesten Gef\u00e4\u00dfen wichtig.
