The grapevine, in the Latin term Vitis vinifera, denotes an independent genus of plant life. Although it suggests the name, not every grapevine is used for the production of wine, for this purpose only the robust subspecies of the noble grapevine is used. All species are a vine that reaches a height of several meters with good care and produces fruits in the form of grapes. For optimal habitat, grapevines require heights that have dry or moderately moist soil and many hours of sunshine per year. Regardless of the species, all berries of the grapevine have a sweetish, sometimes sourish taste. Different types, which are therefore not suitable for the reading of wine, are used in the production of grape juice and thus also contribute to a healthy diet of man. Due to their striking and aesthetic shape, vines are also to be found in modern horticulture and, without oenological ambitions, are an adornment for every garden.
The term "haptic" is the technical term for the human sense of touch, similar to the term "optics and acoustics" which describes the perceptible stimuli of the outside world via the eye or ear. Although the haptic is difficult to compare with the sensory perception of visible or audible stimuli, it is nevertheless capable of capturing and separating complex textures from surfaces. Basic features that can be perceived through the feel, are the size and shape of an object, which are always confirmed by the sense of sight or supplemented. Optically imperceptible properties that are detected solely by the haptics of a person are the surface structure with their respective contours and the weight of an object. Essential for the processing are the sensory cells in the fingers and palms of a human, which are among the areas of the human body with the highest density of nerve cells. Also the so-called depth sensitivity, ie the reaction of the inside of the body to stimuli from the outside, play an essential role in the haptic perception in order to be able to assess, for example, the force required to lift an object. In the floristic environment, haptic perception plays a decisive role for professional gardeners and florists, since they can say something about the health of the respective plant, for example, by feeling the leaves and other plant parts. 
The term harmony is used in different areas of life and thus has different levels of meaning, but roughly the same facts. Harmony is an arrangement of objects of all kinds up to the human coexistence described, which is characterized by the absence of disturbing factors and thus by a regularity in their nature. Harmony is therefore an important term in aesthetics as well as visual art and can be seen as the goal of numerous artists in their work. It is important in the creation of harmony, not only to pay attention to individual elements in the design, but also to consider the interaction of all elements. Harmony in horticulture or in the floristic sector can follow strict mathematical criteria. For example, the symmetrical arrangement of flowerbeds can always be considered as harmonious with the same distance between the individual flowers. Even colors can be harmonious with each other, as long as there is a lack of great contrasts and the common perception is considered aesthetic for the majority of people. From this aesthetic conception, harmony has become a general term for regulated behavior without disruptive factors in recent decades. Collaboration between colleagues in the workplace can then be as much a harmony as a partnership. 
The term garden culture refers to the arrangement of gardens according to practical and aesthetic aspects, whereby the cultivation of the given fields and green spaces follows certain concepts. In this sense, one can not speak of a simple garden culture, but rather a very individual design of gardens is possible, which was also significantly influenced by the social cultures and eras of the past. The term ikebana describes the artful floristry of ancient Japan, which is still practiced today and has found numerous followers in Europe. Like the European floristry, the Ikebana deals with arranging flowers and plants according to certain aesthetic requirements, but the approaches of the Ikebana are difficult to compare with our floristry. The design of arrangements made of flowers, stones, roots and other ornamental elements is viewed more as a meditative activity, and the symbolic meaning of different plants and their relationship to one another is more important than with bouquets or wreaths of European floristry. The so-called kado, which encompasses the philosophical and meditative part of flower arranging and thus complements the aesthetic design of the ikebana, is closely related to the ikebana. Similar to the design theory of Feng Shui, the Ikebana should not only create independent beauty, but also contribute to the harmony of the entire living space and people. If you want to immerse yourself in the art of coca, you will get to know basic methods and arrangements of flowers according to the Ikebana, all of which have their own symbolic meaning. Nowadays the term inspiration is mainly used in the artistic environment, but has its roots in the religious and spiritistic area. The term literally derives from the Latin spirit for spirit or soul, the inspiration is understood as breathing in the spirit or a certain idea. The landscape gardener is a German training profession, who deals with many aspects of landscaping and horticulture and in which also elements of floristry can play. The term "maritime" literally means "belonging to the sea" and thus describes all the components between the economy, nature and everyday life related to such a large body of water.
