Standard tree
The term high stem originates from the botany and represents a characteristic for the distinction of trees. As the term already indicates, a division takes place on the basis of the trunk height, from a high stem to modern horticulture at minimum dimensions of 180 to 220 centimeters instead. At a Glance, the first approach of the treetop should be taken from the ground to a large extent. While in the middle of a treetop, the first part of a tree is called, the crown is on the ground. For smaller tree species, which begin near the ground with the formation of branches and leaves, the term half-stem or low-stem has been established itself in horticulture and tree nursery. Among the best-known plants, which is a high strain, includes classical German deciduous trees, as well as oak, in which the crop of crops are mainly fruit trees. In horticulture and in nurseries tree nurseries, it is used in a nursery garden.
