The protea thrilled flower lovers especially by the very large inflorescences in the form of goblets, each of which has several plants. The plant itself also has a long size, which can be perceived as a shrub or even as a small tree depending on the species. The breeding and care of the protea is considered a great challenge in this country, due to their lack of frost hardy. Thus, the adequate supply of nutrients in a may vary, so that the current needs of a protea must be constantly addressed. Therefore, the Protea has a special popularity as a dried flower, which has become one of the most important exotics in this country in the design of arrangements and wreaths. Due to its large flower shape, the protea occupies a great place on art objects and so often becomes the central figure of a flower arrangement.
