Polyrattan
Poly rattan is a collective term for various plastics, which are made in long strips industrially made into classic wickerwork, but have nothing to do in their material quality with classic rattan or other, natural wicker materials. Many consumers are unaware of genuine wicker and polyrattan, which are considered natural rattan, but are no longer of natural origin, especially in the production of plant baskets or garden furniture. The use of poly rattan – brings with it some advantages that are appreciated in modern horticulture as well as in the decoration of outdoor facilities of all kinds. On the one hand, poly rattan is not as exposed to weathering as natural rattan, so that, for example, garden furniture made of this material wants to retain intact shape for years to come. The material is therefore more robust to physical impact, with greater or lesser pressure than breaking. From an ecological point of view, garden enthusiasts can safely rely on modern poly rattan, this material is 100% biodegradable in modern production. With a view into a modern retail trade, goods made of polyrattan should almost invariably be found, which, without any additional burden on the environment, have a much higher quality than classic goods made of rattan.
