planting
The term planting is used in the German language in two meaning. On the one hand, planting represents the activity of planting or planting, using seeds, germlines or bulbs in soil or granules. While private gardeners take over the planting and subsequent rearing manually, the use of planting machines is established in the commercial sector, which controls the distance of the seed and the depth of the implantation through targeted adjustments. For larger crops, such as trees and shrubs, the excavation of soil is essential for planting so as to provide sufficient space for the spacious root system and to ensure optimal development of the respective plant after planting. The term planting refers in second meaning to the area on which the implantation took place. Here again, a distinction is made between the purpose of this implantation. If it concerns the creation of crops, the term field or plantation is established, in ornamental flowers is more likely to be spoken by a bed or a discount. Even though numerous plantings take place in private horticulture when planting beds, the term planting is less common in this context, so that, as a rule, a commercial benefit is assumed if this name is used.
