Green carnations are not found in the wild, but have been selectively bred by florists in recent years. Above all, barnacles with their distinctive, round flower shape are frequently found in specialist stores in this coloring and make it possible to complement lighter flower varieties of the same flower for an interesting contrast. Here, too, green barnacles symbolize the power of life and the beauty of an intact nature, whereby this effect comes into its own only with the contrast of bright carnations.
