bamboo
Bamboo refers to a sweetgrass variety, which is native to the Asian continent and can be used in many ways. While the bamboo with its green leaves in its native climes is primarily used as food, in this country bamboo tubes are to be found as decorative elements in public space as well as in professional floristry. Small varieties of bamboo that have been harvested early turn into a special ornament in bouquets or flower bowls, with the robust and weather-resistant nature of the bamboo making it an ideal complement to flowers and other fresh produce. In its mature form, which reaches one meter or even more in size, the bamboo can be used to decorate the home garden or to demarcate land. Even as a building material bamboo is now very much appreciated and is used as a particularly ecological substance in numerous projects of classic house construction. In addition to its use in floristry, the bamboo can also be used as a fuel in the home fireplace, so that after blooming of a bouquet or a planter, this natural raw material can still be used sensibly.
