Balancing is an activity in modern horticulture, which is mainly used in tree nurseries and large suppliers of woody plants of all kinds. For baling special baling cutters are used, which can be stretched as an additional tool in front of a tractor or offered by retailers as an independent vehicle. The aim of the balling is to raise a tree, shrub or other woodland out of the ground, without damaging the root system of the corresponding plant and thereafter stably keeping root and soil together. This step becomes necessary, as the planting and growing of the trees is first done in a nursery, before the sprouts or small plants can be sold to customers after a few months or years. They want to plant the trees and shrubs in the private garden or public parks, the opportunity to plant this plant with their entire root system, so that the wood can introduce directly into the new habitat and beat more roots. When using the bale cutter, it is therefore important to pay close attention to the age of the particular plant and the radius of the root system so as not to damage it accidentally when it is removed from the ground. After that, the actual balling is carried out, in which the root system together with soil in cloths or a close-meshed wire mesh are wrapped.
